Below you can find some commonly asked questions that you might find helpful. If there is a question that is not covered please contact us.

What is a domain name?
A domain name is the "base" component of every Internet address (web site, e-mail, etc.). It identifies the company the address belongs to. For example, ABC Inc. could register the domain name ABC-INC.COM.

How long can the name be, and what characters are allowed?
Your Domain name can be up to 50 characters long. This does not include your .com,.net, or .org. characters. They include all letters A to Z and all digits 0 to 9. You may also use the character "-", but it cannot be a leading or trailing character. The domain name system does not recognize capital letters. You may enter capital letters, but they will be translated into small letters.

What is the price for domain registration?
The price for registration is fixed by InterNIC the official registration people. They charge $70 for 2 years. We include this charge in our Web Site designing fee.

Do I need to register all three domain name extensions: .com, .net and .org?
You may register all three name extensions to ensure that your competitors do not piggy back off your success. We do not think that it is absolutely necessary to do this. If you do decide to register the other name extensions it will be at your own expense. We will register the extra name extensions for you as a service to you.

What is a URL?
The term URL means Uniform Resource Locator. This is the string of information that lets people locate specific sites on the Internet. A URL is unique - meaning that no two are exactly alike. It is a description of a computer's location on the Internet much like your home address describes your location within a city.

What if the name I want to use is already taken?
It means that someone on the Internet has already secured that name for his or her own site, and that name is probably gone. You may try a slight variation on that name, think up a new one, register the same name with a different domain extension or contact us and we will suggest another name.

How do I use my new domain?
Once we have completed the registration of your domain name, the next step will be to design your Web Site. If you already have an idea of how the layout of your site should look, we will write the code to make it look the way you want it. Otherwise we will design it so that it meets your approval.

What are the chances of my name being misspelled by your staff during the submission process?
Zero. We submit your domain name to the Registry exactly the way you spelled it during the subscription process.

What are the ten search engines you will be submitting my Web Site to?
The search engines we will be submitting your Web Site to are: Yahoo, Alta Vista, Netscape, Northern Light, Excite, Webcrawler, Lycos, Hot Bot, Infoseek and Planet Search.
